Lately, the days are mild, the sunlight is warm on our backs, and I am greeted with bright green and tiny wildflowers along the streets everywhere I go. Even in a big city like Tokyo, nature exists in strips and pockets and corners. It's fun to discover these little surprises here and there. Following the cherry blossoms and then wisteria, the season of roses has arrived. Soon after, the rainy season will be here, along with hydrangeas in their wistful shades of blue and purple.
