Blossom Rain in Tokyo

Here are a few scenes from recently. The city has turned into a glorious frenzy of blossom-viewing picnics and camera-wielders' paradise, with full bloom here for most trees and already too many petals beginning to flutter down like snow. In some places, the ground and stones are already covered with pink and white. It looks like a period of rain may be arriving soon, pulling the blossoms from their branches in a flood of pastel color. Though sad, that itself will be a sight to behold.
