Tokyo Portrait Photography: The Photographer and the Athlete

The Photographer

The Athlete

Michi came up with some fantastic ideas and themes for our shoot, including bringing an old film camera of her grandfather's, and shooting athletic style photos. It's always fun working with Michi, as she's very open to experimenting and trying out new things. The action shots were a great challenge! We were planning to shoot at Shinjuku Gyoen, which I haven't been to for quite a while, but sadly found out after getting to the front gate.. it's closed on Mondays!! (note to self: remember.) We ended up going to Yoyogi Park, which turned out pretty nice :) and had a bit of cake/french toast afterward in nearby Harajuku. Thanks very much again, Michi!
