Tokyo Fashion Photography: Yokohama Chinatown Morning

I'd like to share Part 2 of Hayato's photoshoot, an early morning session in Yokohama Chinatown. This district is a bit away from the central part of Tokyo, so it took getting up at 6:00 AM and an hour's train ride, but it was definitely worth it for these photos in the almost eerily silent streets. I have been to this Chinatown once or twice before for fun, and they are always quite filled with tourists, restaurant staff displaying their signs, and the wafting aroma of Chinese food. During our shoot, there were none of these, creating a deserted and lonely atmosphere. Although Hayato doesn't smoke, he came up with the idea of using cigarettes as a prop for a few shots. This shoot was a lot of fun, and I'm happy we could create photos in such interesting settings as these. I might just have to try early morning shoots more often!
