I shot these photos for Hayato on a gorgeous, early October afternoon. The sun was out, the temperature was just about perfect, and there were hardly any people on the beach, apart from a scattering of surfers. Now this is what I call a beach - clear water stretching out as far as the eye can see into the horizon, gulls winging their way overhead. And actual, beautiful shells dotting the sand. I couldn't stop myself from starting down occasionally and fingering a few, although I didn't bring any back with me. So, Japan does have amazingly pretty beaches, and I feel so lucky to have visited this one on a photoshoot assignment. Hayato, thank you so much for an inspiring shoot!
