Kicking off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo 2013-14 Autumn/Winter! Here are the photos I took at the first runway show I attended of the week, a dazzling collection of basic-colored knitwear by the talented designer Conny Groenewegen.
I especially liked the texture and flowing feel of this piece.
The colors shown in this collection were mostly hues of black, gray, red, and white. Each style displayed both a feminine elegance and cool confidence at the same time. Just what I prefer.
Sleeves puffed up to the shoulders and fitted down to the wrist, a very refined look.
The lovely Conny herself, walking out to energetic applause.

Please look forward to more photos from upcoming shows during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo 2013-14 A/W! It's an exciting experience, especially at the very beginning of a show, when all the lights dim and the music suddenly booms through the hall. I find it an inspiration, viewing each piece that has been painstakingly crafted by the designer and brought to life, carried throughout the hall for all to see. Artwork.
